Green - someone new at something. Teamster - someone who has the skills and knowledge to perform the art of driving horses. Sum those two together and you get me. I've been actively driving horses since March 2009. I've learned a lot, but there's a lot I don't know. I write what I go through here, in hopes it will be useful to someone. I also appreciate any of you who add to the conversation by leaving comments. Thanks for reading.

Mar 9, 2008 - Buck 2 1/2 weeks
Just wanted to write a quick update as to how things are doing out here.
Today I actually took a horse tape out and got a height and an
approximate weight on Lily and Buck.
Lily: 16 hands tall, ~1500 lbs
Buck: 10 hands tall, ~150 lbs
Buck has a halter on right now. He sounds like a bell! He keeps
shaking his head, making the metal parts on the halter clink together.
I put it on an hour ago and will go out in a few minutes and take it
off. This was the first time with that, so he was easy. I'm sure
next time it'll be harder.
